The Herald News, July 26, 2019:

U.S. Rep. Bill Foster, D-Naperville visited Regis Glass Art in downtown Joliet today to meet with long-time Joliet artist Sue Regis, owner of Regis Glass Art.

In addition to creating glass art in her studio, Regis recently founded the Art Movement, a group of artists seeking to ignite passion for the arts and revamp Joliet’s artistic history. Foster scheduled the visit after reading about

Regis’s work in the local arts community. In addition to the Art Movement, Regis also spearheads the Old Joliet Prison Burnt District Artists and was a driving force behind the Joliet Arts Commission, which was created by the Joliet City Council at the July 16 meeting.
